Saying goodbye to the home studio

Home Studio Minis - All the Info

Show up ready for action, we have a limited time together and I want you to get the most of it!

Minis can be for product, portraits or a mix of both!

Keep in mind we will not have time to switch up the studio to tailer it for your shoot, so come prepared to work with the studio setup as is for your session. As is means a white backdrop. I will have a simple table/desk nearby to use for posing variety and flatly options for your product.

Home Studio Minis are 30 minute sessions scheduled for either Friday, May 26th or Saturday, May 27th.

The price for minis is $99+tax and is not refundable. This price holds your spot. Availability is super limited.

All sessions will be held at my home studio as a last chance to work in the space before I move the studio!

The address for the home is 1040 N 1300 W #79, St. George, UT, 84770.

There is a community center nearby my house and parking there will be best. The house is located inside a community called Millcreek Cottages.

Some quick tips for product:

  • Make sure your product is clean and camera ready

  • I have props in studio, but sourcing and styling can eat up your time, come ready with a plan or with your own props - you can let me know in advance what you're going for and I can set some things aside so we're more efficient

  • You may bring a model if you need to, also I’ve been known to use my own hands for modeling while shooting if needed

  • If you have a super reflective product, understand that we don't have the time to work around a lot of reflections as we would with a normal session

Some quick tips for portraits:

  • Keep in mind that oils and SPF can create a lot of shine in a portrait

  • If applying makeup, remember that the lights can wash us out a bit, so for eyes and lips you might want to go a little heavier.

  • If you're worried about shine, you can bring some powder

  • Glitter and lots of shimmer can sometimes come across as white dots on your face when the light catches it. You don't have to completely avoid shimmer/glitter, just keep it in mind.

  • Since we're shooting on a white backdrop, you'll want to wear something darker for contrast.

  • Solids generally work best overall compared to clothing with patterns.

Photos will be delivered within 2 weeks of our session. You'll receive the best shots we create together. Since everyone's session will be a little different, I won't be able to promise a set number of photos. With that being said, I'll be aiming for anywhere from 10-20+ delivered photos.
